One major deception that is being promoted by many evangelical elites today (whether consciously or not) is a new false unity with the church of Rome. Respected Evangelical leaders like Billy Graham have forgotten just why the Protestant movement took place. New age beliefs are antichrist and permeate our current political leadership. Ecumenism is also inspired by the spirit of antichrist and many "church leaders," have been attempting to homogenize different denominations to all "fit" under one umbrella through the apostate World Council of Churches. Many "NEW" Evangelical leaders have fallen for this deception. One of the most glaring examples of a famous Christian "movement" falling prey to absorbing and even teaching Catholic mysticism and accepting Catholic, extra-biblical infiltration is at Willow Creek Church:
Perhaps the most disturbing product of the "Ecumenical Movement" is found in a new document forged by the RCC with evangelical representatives and certain liberal Protestant denominations. It is an ungodly agreement, containing the thinly veiled apostate agenda of the Catholic Church, enabled by and agreed to by apostates who call themselves "evangelicals." It is called the Manhattan Declaration. It white-washes the evil murderous history of the Catholic Church, while attempting to deceive Protestants into believing that very little separates Catholics and Protestants.
Apostasy is now rampant in the evangelical church and a major example of their deception is glaringly obvious in how evangelical "leaders" are increasingly in official "agreement" with Roman Catholicism and the Pope. Many prophecy teachers know that this is a major fulfillment of scripture regarding the end times' religion of Antichrist, in which the religions of the world will bow to Rome. Most evangelicals and especially their leaders are clueless as to how Catholic, NEW AGE mysticism has infiltrated and undermined major evangelical movements (like Promise Keepers, Word Faith/Prophetic Movement, Willow Creek, Rick Warren's Purpose Driven Life) and most "Protestant" denominations. The fact that many leading evangelicals have been deceived to become a part of this ecumenical apostasy, proves that we are living in the last of the last days. Paul prophesied in Thess. 2:3, that an intensive even militant 'falling away from the Truth' (apostasy) of the Gospel among Christians, must occur before Jesus would return for His church. We are nearly at the height of that apostasy! Another chilling article from a former Catholic insider, as to the increasing New Age apostasy within certain elite echelons of the Catholic Church. Pantheistic and antichristian "New Age" doctrines are being taught at the highest levels of Catholicism. As major portions of "Protestantism" bend over backwards to appease what seems to be traditional Catholicism, while Catholicism is rushing headlong into a pantheistic, New Age form, led by apostate Jesuits and many other powerful Catholic leaders.
Such hate speech and bigotry proclaimed by the pope, has always inflamed a demonic attitude or "zeitgeist" among the spiritually blind and brainwashed zealots in Catholicism, who are prone to religious violence- the same sort of evil and murderous progroms that started the many Counter-Reformation wars in Europe (Thirty Years War, Edict of Nantes, St. Bartholomew's Day massacre, St Ignatius Day slaughter of Protestants in N. Ireland and the ensuing hundreds of years of religious violence there,- just to name a few Catholic/Jesuit instigated wars, which killed millions of "heretics" - mostly Protestants and Jews).

If you are FIRST and FOREMOST a Christian, you must realize the grave error of the pope's statement. If your PRIMARY allegiance and obedience is with the pope, then it is NOT to Jesus and His Word. The same goes for any church or denomination that views itself as being the only real way to God and salvation. A true Christian is as much of a representative of Christ on this earth, as ANY major leader of Christianity on earth. There are many non-Catholic cults that hold the same doctrine of their particular church being the only true church. As Christians our PRIMARY obedience and relationship must be with Jesus Christ and the proper interpretation of what HE said. In proclaiming itself as the ONLY TRUE CHURCH and that all other churches are defective or deficient, the pope has reaffirmed that the Catholic Church is a powerful Christian cult. For it IS NOT upon Peter that Jesus built His true spiritual church but rather upon the confession of Faith in Christ for salvation, for which NO MAN OR WOMAN need to join an earthly organization to obtain. My appeal is to Catholics and to all Protestants who are inclined to think that Catholicism is just another Christian (or the only true) denomination. The pope has cemented exactly why Luther PROTESTED the MANY grievous errors found in Catholic doctrine and practice. We do NOT look down upon any Catholic brother or sister. We care enough about them to tell them the truth!

As Dave Hunt stated in the video above, we love Catholics (and Protestants) enough to tell them the truth, regardless of the cost. We love our Catholic brothers and sisters! We do not say (as the Council of Trent says about us) that they are cursed or damned. The Word of God forbids us to condemn anyone! We are not saying that Catholics are not Christians, although official Catholic dogma asserts that no one can be saved outside of the Catholic Church and that Catholicism is the only true church - yet they are above criticism for MILITANTLY projecting such views? A relationship with Jesus through faith in Christ alone (sola fide) resulting in being born again spiritually, is not the sole propriety of any denomination but of God's work alone, through the power and authority of his Word (sola Scriptura)! God is a jealous God who longs for us to turn from man-made religious systems and formulas, that only obscure the simpleness and purity of the Gospel. We also believe that there has always been a distinct general difference between the Catholic hierarchy and the body of Catholic believers, although most Catholics blindly follow their corrupt hierarchy and their edicts, in spite of the explosion of sexual abuse cases and settlements against the church. The psychological abuse is much more rampant by the clergy and heavily homosexual clergy (known by many inside the church as the purple mafia). The Catholic hierarchy obviously sees itself as a special, entitled, and untouchable class of princes. There are some Catholics who are devoted to Jesus but most are devoted to the catholic Church system and to Mary worship. Most of the hierarchy has been revealed as being devoted to itself and superior to everyone else. Catholic or Protestant dogma, does not trump God's Word (sola Scriptura!).
Going back to the time of Constantine, Catholicism is an amalgamation of (an extreme mixture) of ancient pagan and occult religions, with Christianity. A major doctrinal difference between true Bible believers and Catholics is the centerpiece example of how the Catholic hierarchy has chosen historically, to teach and practice extra-biblical doctrines (dogma declared "ex-cathedra" often by completely corrupt popes, as confirmed even by Catholic researchers).
The doctrine of 'transubstantiation', (for instance) is the very cornerstone of the 'mass' in the Catholic Church, and is completely heretical because they officially believe that once the wafer and wine is "blessed", it becomes the literal "host" of Christ's ACTUAL blood, and physical body! Most Catholics don't even believe that they are actually "eating God" but rather believe that it is only a symbolic, spiritual act. But the official church dogma anathametizes (condemns- the Catholic Church OFFICIALLY CONDEMNED ALL PROTESTANTS HUNDREDS OF YEARS AGO!) anyone who doesn't believe that the mass isn't the actual blood and body of Christ! WHY WOULD JESUS WANT YOU TO EAT HIM PHYSICALLY AND DRINK HIS BLOOD??? (ironically, the RCC condemns those who take the Bible literally, when their entire interpretation is based upon Jesus' celebration of Passover with His disciples, in which He NEVER became bread or wine or asked His disciples to eat Him. Passover was obviously a spiritual metaphor of His then impending crucifixion and fulfillment of the true meaning of Passover. The Lamb of God, God Almighty incarnate, was laying down His life, which the temple sacrifices and Passover had always prophesied, symbolized and represented.
This video proves the pagan origin of the mass and the amalgamation of ancient occultic/pagan beliefs with Christianity. Catholicism is a dualistic "religion" in that most of its symbols have an occult double meaning. For instance the "IHS" symbol emlazoned upon banners and robes in many churches- Catholic and Protestant, is actually believed by those knowledgeable of occult symbolism to stand for the Egyptian "gods" "Iris, Horus, Seth. Perhaps a major cult exists within the Catholic Church exists within the hierarchy of the Catholic Church, which is polytheistic? Why is it that they long ago errected a massive Egyptian obelisk (which represents the "shaft" of Baal) in the middle of the circle (or womb) the court of St. Peter's Bascillica? Much earlier, Constantine basically "christianized" pagan beliefs, practices and especially pagan / occult festivals and mixed many of those occult rituals and symbols into "Christianity", which then ceased being biblical, orthodox Christianity:
Jesus obviously often spoke in parables as well, which cannot be taken "literally"). The Bible is crystal clear when it says that "CHRIST DIED ONCE" for our sins and cannot be re-crucified! Obviously, the Catholic hierarchy perverted the meaning of the scriptures long ago and decided to interpret our Lord's words at the Last Supper, literally. Jesus cannot be "eaten" by anyone and to believe that the priest can change bread and wine into flesh and blood is idolatry and blasphemy at best, canabalistic deicide at the worst. JESUS WANTS YOU TO CONSUME HIM SPIRITUALLY, NOT PHYSICALLY! It is impossible to eat God! This warped doctrine literally came directly from the cult of Mithras, where religious invocations were spoken, which they believed caused the "deities" (demons in reality) to possess the bread and wine eaten during their pagan ceremonies. Other pagan societies also had similar practices. A monk first proposed the errant doctrine of the "Eucharist" as late as the 9th century. It wasn't made the official doctrine of the Catholic Church until the 13th century! If you are Catholic, please ask Jesus if he needs to be physically eaten, in order for you to be in fellowship with Him and wait for His answer. The heresy gets worse as the "host" is worshiped and prayed to by the priest and the congregants. Following the "sacraments" cannot save you. The Catholic church nor ANY "church" can save you! Following the edicts of a religious institution cannot sway God to save you let alone forgive you! Only a personal relationship (being spiritually born again by repenting of ALL idolatry and sin and receiving Christ into your life by faith) can put you in DIRECT fellowship with Jesus! No priest, pastor or religious system or formula can ever do this. Faith in Christ alone will save you, not belief in some system through which you earn salvation or are compelled to "eat Christ," which is NOT even possible! There is no magic concoction that can be created, which will impart devotion to Christ, nor make you forgiven and holy.
With the heretical, foundational doctrine of the mass and other consequent "dogmas" decreed by evil popes, such as Mary worship (idolatry) is it possible that the decrees and judgments of the Vatican represent authentic Christianity in any way? The belief that Mary is a "co-redeemer" with Jesus, is a more recent heresy, which deifies her. The Pope is now defending Islam and other antichrist religions We must not compromise biblical principles in order to become joined to a world religion, composed of all kinds of apostate and even occultic beliefs. (This IS NOT a blanket condemnation of Catholics). There are many good people in the Catholic Church, just as there are also many in apostate Protestant churches, though just being "good" does not equate to being born again or ritghteous. The Pope and his Catholic hierarchy has gotten increasingly hateful towards Bible believers and has attacked "fundamentalists" whose faith rests upon God's Word. The hierarchy and extra-biblical doctrines of the Catholic church are dangerously apostate and any truly born-again Catholic should renounce Catholicism and come out of it (many have). GOD HATES IDOLATRY and the Catholic church has intstitutionalized idolatry.

I am NOT advocating a false kind of religious zealotry that manifests from the flesh in the form of hatred or fear in reaction to this information, instead of love (though most will characterize us as being "hateful" and "bigoted" for telling the truth). We must be willing to stand for the truth, or we will see our freedoms taken away. We are called to die to self (rather than indulge it), to follow and love Jesus with all of our heart, mind, and strength, and to SPEAK THE TRUTH IN LOVE and CONTEND EARNESTLY FOR THE FAITH! We must strive to have love and understanding for everyone, though we may disapprove of their lifestyles and moral choices. WE MUST NEVER CONDEMN OR LOOK DOWN UPON ANYONE because they don't agree with us or are different from us- we are to love EVERYONE. But that does not infer that we are to be silent and just "go along to get along." (IN AMERICA EVEN OUR 1ST AMENDMENT GUARANTEES US THE RIGHT TO SPEAK OUT THOUGH MANY ARE AFRAID TO!) Many non-Christians will disagree with our "conservative" sense of morality and we must expect persecution based on that alone. While in the world, we have to tolerate and LOVE ALL NON-Christians who may practice immoral, unethical, and anti-Christian behavior. However, in the true body of Christ, we are not to approve or tolerate worldly immorality, nor the practice of false religion- especially not dangerously demonic doctrines. WE ARE COMMANDED TO CONTEND EARNESTLY FOR THE PURITY OF THE FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST, AND THE PREACHING AND PRACTICE OF BIBLICAL CHRISTIANITY! This requires using spiritual discernment and the making of "judgments."
For instance, anyone who fails to make proper decisions (righteous judgments) while driving a car, risk their life and limb and the lives of others. If as a Christian you don't obey God's Word and seek God's counsel and guidance in your life, you endanger your own soul. God's desire for us is to completely trust IN HIM in ALL things, especially for our salvation and to KNOW HIM and WALK with HIM spiritually.
Just as Jesus and Paul warned us about these last days, there are many false teachers and false prophets spewing a wide variety of erroneous and dangerous beliefs and doctrines.
A watchman is one who listens for the Master's voice and is willing to speak the word of the Lord to the church, no matter what the cost. Sometimes, it is a tough word of warning– at other times, it is a word of encouraging exhortation.
In this late hour of attack and persecution of born-again Christians, we must "BE STRONG IN THE LORD AND IN THE POWER OF HIS MIGHT [we must] "PUT ON THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD!" (Ephesians 6) God has called us all to be spiritual warriors who have been immersed in God's truth and in His Holy Spirit- "BE SOBER, BE VIGILANT; BECAUSE YOUR ADVERSARY THE DEVIL AS A ROARING LION WALKETH ABOUT, SEEKING WHOM HE MAY DEVOUR. WHOM RESIST STEADFAST IN THE FAITH..." (1 Peter 5:8,9). This spiritual warfare is not a war that we wage or win in our OWN strength, for the Lord assures us that "THE BATTLE IS THE LORD'S" [we must] "STAND AND SEE WHAT THE LORD WILL DO." That is not to say that we stand and do nothing, but it also does not connote a private war of our own making against evil, or a sort of pseudo-religious violence that is practiced by some. We cannot prevail in a private, hateful war against the devil, which borders on blasphemy. Our victory has been won already by Jesus and our foe is already defeated, but we must depend completely on Jesus to vanquish our enemy the devil and obediently trust in God and His Word. Some spiritual warfare advocates would have us cursing and stomping on the devil when even Jesus never did that while in the wilderness- instead Jesus used the greatest weapon. The Word of God used the Word of God to fight Satan, and so must we! I mean that we must have such a deep understanding and trust in God's promises, that we cannot be ruffled when we are attacked or tempted. If we know the Word, then we know that we are "MORE THAN CONQUERERS" through Christ. That does not translate to giving us license to become self-entitled little kings and queens on this earth. Though we certainly must be bold and truthful in our preaching of the Word, we are not here to set up a worldly kingdom as erroneous Dominionist/Latter Rain/Third Wave/Faith Movement adepts advocate, but rather we are to be part of spreading the Lord's spiritual kingdom, primarily by the way we live and love others. The Kingdom of God is within US! When we fail to obey as commanded by Jesus to "SEEK YE FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS," we then can easily fall prey to a myriad of present day deceptions and perversions of God's Word. We must humbly know and abide in JESUS; The Word of God!
My desire is to see others thriving in Christ and free from the bondages of dead religion and the dangers of dabbling in the vast array of present deceptions and counterfeits. This is NOT an easy word but I pray that God speaks to you through it. This is a call to all who call themselves Christian to ...BREAK UP THE FALLOW GROUND for it is time to seek the Lord, till He comes...” (Hosea 10:12). The Lord wants to deliver His people from all of the wrong, extra-biblical doctrines, traditions, and practices that now infect much of the church. Jesus is coming for a spotless Bride, not one who has become worldly and wicked. If you are offended by this message, I ask you to consider the possibility that you were actually convicted by it, in which case I hope that you will respond to the Spirit's prompting. Please realize that the Apostle Paul warned us about these last days. Most biblically orthodox scholars believe that the following scripture is a description of many in the last days church:
" But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power." 2Timothy 3:1- 5
