BRAINWASHING OF CHRISTENDOM
We are living in a time when many Christian leaders and their followers are being deceived, brainwashed and spiritually blinded to varying degrees. The church is plagued with an ungodly antichrist spirit that demands that churchmen "don't rock the boat." The unspoken mantra of many church leaders today is "don't examine other Christian's (ministries) works, words, or fruits; "just go along to get along." Most church leaders pay homage to the more popular ministries by not examining them or "criticizing" them. Pastor Rick Warren, founder of Saddleback mega church and author of 'The Purpose Drive Life', recently proclaimed that "troublemakers" (dissenters) in the church must be dealt with harshly and quickly. Warren includes those who disagree with his New Age church ideas and programs that aren't necessarily biblical. Obviously, Warren believes that he and the 'professional pastorate,' is above righteous judgment and biblical discernment. Righteous judgment is NOT "criticism." Righteous judgment does not pay homage or misidentify dangerous doctrines. Righteous judgment GLORIFIES JESUS and edifies His church body. ALL Christian ministries are first subject to Jesus, the authority of His Word and reproof and correction. Many major ministries have bought the lie that to shine light on dangerous doctrines, fruits and practices, is ungodly. That is indicative of the very spirit of flatteries that Daniel said would arise in the last days. "Those who do wickedly against the covenant he (Antichrist) shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits" (Daniel 11:32). Many Christian leaders are afraid to speak out and preach the truth for fear of being labeled as being "judgmental" or "condemning." They simply "go along to get along," and some of them emulate, copy and praise those in error, in hopes that they might also become rich and popular. That is an ungodly spirit of Antichrist, rearing its ugly head in our midst. This 'spirit of flatteries' that Daniel prophesied would be prevelant in the last days is the same spiritual root of 'political correctness,' which now dominates world culture and most of what calls itself the "church."
In the "Word/Faith" Latter Day Rain/ false prophetic anointing movements, a false revival is being propogated that brainwashes it's adepts by using high-pressure tactics, which are reminiscent of cultic and occultic tactics. Tricia Tillian of Cross+Word Ministries, details the brainwashing techniques and mode of operations now found in many of these "ministries." I have experienced these techniques against myself, having visited a false anointing/ "Word of Faith" church for several months. That pastor was on a power trip reminiscent of fascist dictators and I can see the same meglamaniac spirit upon others in this movement. This man claimed spiritual ascendancy through Benny Hinn, It was as though he had bought a false anointing franchise from the man! He even had a picture out in the church of himself and Benny Hinn as though his (non-existant) relationship with Hinn made him especially "anointed."
Yes, there is need for direct, public rebuke of certain ministries that are endangering the lives of many millions who listen to them. If that just made you uncomfortable, then perhaps you need to ask God to reveal the truth to you. Jesus had extremely terse words for the Pharisees and charlatans. I don't believe that I approach the tenacity of Spirit that Jesus had when He cleansed the Temple, but I do sense the Lord's righteous anger about the level of apostasy now present in what used to be parts of His church! We MUST expose workers of iniquity and call leaders who are in error to repentance when necessary, as instructed in God's Word.
This is not to advocate some kind of legalistic perfectionism. I am not saying that all ministries and individual Christians can achieve some sort of Christian "nirvana" where we never sin. What has been happening in many quadrants of the church is the institutionalization of error and apostasy, accompanied by a severe spirit of control and oppression. What is needed in the body of Christ is a godly openness and brokenness whereby we confess our sins (and repent of them) and turn to Jesus alone as our sole source of strength, especially when we are weak ("When we are weak, then we are strong." "The Lord is my Strength"). Where the Spirit of the Lord is, His liberty, grace, and love abound, not strife, legalism, doubt, and fear. We Christians are mere sinners- saved by the grace of God alone (though many of us still have rough edges), but because we are human, even devoted Christians and anointed ministries can have certain amounts of unconfessed sin and doctrinal error, but we must not allow our sinful, religious rationalizations, and private sins and interpretations when exposed, to remain and fester- even becoming institutionalized in some movements, particularly when they are completely opposed to the scriptures. “Little,” hidden sins (like pride) have been known to bring down large ministries, and Satan- the prowling, hungry lion, is just salivating and ready to leap on Christians who have ignored God’s convicting Spirit, who have instead created a righteousness and reality of their own vain imaginations. The mark of a true, loving servant of Jesus- one who longs to please and obey Jesus, is one who responds correctly to His conviction, and can confess their sins when convicted, and repent of sin. The worst and most rampant departure from the Faith begins with little compromises. Compromise leads to being seduced into accepting the fraudulent and counterfeit. Many marginal Christians have been thoroughly seduced into accepting erroneous concepts, and un-biblical doctrines. Many have even been deceived into thinking that Christianity is merely one of many ways to God (pantheism). God desires and commands that we worship Him in Spirit and in truth. It isn’t possible to know or worship Jesus without being filled with His Spirit and made righteous by His truth- not our version of it. Having a love for the brethren means being willing to expose sin and error for the purpose of restoration- not destruction or condemnation. That means fulfilling the calling of an evangelist by calling people and ministries to repentance, which does not infer the perfection or superiority of the messenger, merely a willingness to obey God and help the brethren.
The most subtle deception is the preaching and acceptance of a compromised, watered-down gospel. This is afflicting most of the Evangelical church. The true Gospel is being mixed with pagan psychology and other philosophies that are antichrist at their core. A phony, materialistic, “Christian” culture has evolved that exalts, magnifies, and idolizes certain individuals and movements in an extremely worldly way. The Bible is no longer the major foundation and compass for these groups as they increasingly rely on worldly principals, personal experience and their own rationalizations instead of God’s Word. Compromise and seduction flourish where the word of God is not preached and taught in purity and power. Though a large portion of the scriptures (including the words of Christ) are corrective in nature, most of the church holds itself to be above correction and has been brainwashed to want only an "easy" word- one that won't "offend" them. Many have been brainwashed into accepting the premise of the Norman Vincent Peale/ Robert Schuller phony, "positive gospel" that demands that we "must not judge" and we "must not be negative." Pardon me, but preaching the true Gospel may sound "negative" or "judgmental" to them but it is the power of God unto salvation!
Dave Hunt has thoroughly identified a dangerous, yet subtle strain of apostate philosophy that all born-again Christians need to be warned about:
"Popular author M. Scott Peck, though a New Ager, professes to be a Christian and is so accepted even by evangelicals. He speaks for a growing sector of the church:
{Peck:] "When I think of the enormity of the changes required (for global peace) ... it sometimes seems that a virtual Second Coming is required. I am not talking about a bodily second coming. In fact, I am profoundly pessimistic about a church that would sit around passively waiting for its messiah to appear in the flesh.
"Rather, I am talking about the resurrection of Christ's spirit, which would occur in the church if Christians took him seriously."
[Hunt] Here we have one of the most persuasive New Age lies that was ever inspired by Satan. Many Charismatic leaders are now promoting the idea that the second coming is not the return of our Lord personally in His resurrected individual body to earth, but the attainment by His spiritual body, the church, to a higher spiritual state evidenced by great signs and wonders. A leading New Ager presents this lie persuasively:
[Peck} "So as we accept Christ in our hearts ... not just a simple emotional emotional conversion that the electronic evangelists calls for, but a radical transformation of consciousness ... we experience the coming of Christ, now ...
There is no Second Coming of Christ, that is a false concept ... There is only, as the Bible puts it, the coming of Christ, through you and me, as we ascend in consciousness ...
The final appearance of the Christ will not be a man in the air whom all must kneel ... (but) an evolutionary event ... A new race, a new species will inhabit the Earth - people who collectively have the stature in consciousness that Jesus had. And in that process the kingdom of God will truly be established on Earth under the rule of the Christ in the hearts and minds and souls of all people."
[Hunt} How diabolically clever! The author does not argue as an anti-Christian but as a true Christian. He does not reject the Bible but claims to correct a false interpretation of the Bible. His thesis is very persuasive. To rise to the full stature of one's innate perfection seems far more ennobling than to repent of one's rebellion before a holy God. And this thesis fits perfectly with the Antichrist's probable claim that he is the reincarnation of the Christ's spirit that was in Jesus - a "higher state of consciousness" into which he promises to lead the world."
Peck's "teaching" has been embraced by many "seeker" churches and formally biblically sound, evangelicals!
If you don't see the massive compromise, worldliness and the practice of apostate religion as being prevalent in what has become of most modern day Churchianity, this message will either open your eyes, or anger you. All I ask is that you examine yourself and don't ignore or misidentify the discomfort and conviction brought on by the Holy Spirit as you read these pages. My motivation is not to bash or trash anyone, but rather to see them without spot or wrinkle when they stand before Jesus! I will lovingly and strongly tell people the truth, regardless of the price. Someone was willing to give His life to set me free. The least that I can do is to "BE READY IN SEASON AND OUT OF SEASON, CONVINCING, REBUKING, EXHORTING, WITH ALL LONGSUFFERING AND TEACHING. Has most of the "Christian establishment" simply gone BERSERK? Major portions of the church have lost its first love for Jesus and thus its savor, (salt) and light. Without being able to acknowledge and preach about the truth of the church's condition, many will continue to fall away from the truth of the Gospel. A humanistic, social "gospel" is now promoted in most churches. The great Apostasy is raging. We must call the church to repentance and back to her first love for Jesus!

Through the Apostle Paul, God has warned us EXPRESSLY about the fierce nature of the apostasy that would come UPON the church in the last days. Paul is addressing the church when he says: "BUT KNOW THIS, THAT IN THE LAST DAYS, PERILOUS TIMES WILL COME: FOR MEN WILL BE LOVERS OF THEMSELVES, LOVERS OF MONEY, BOASTERS, PROUD, BLASPHEMERS, DISOBEDIENT TO PARENTS, UNTHANKFUL, UNHOLY, UNLOVING, UNFORGIVING, SLANDERERS, WITHOUT SELF-CONTROL, BRUTAL, DESPISERS OF GOOD, TRAITORS, HEADSTRONG, HAUGHTY, LOVERS OF PLEASURE RATHER THAN LOVERS OF GOD, HAVING A FORM OF GODLINESS BUT DENYING ITS POWER. AND FROM SUCH PEOPLE TURN AWAY! (2 Tim. 3:1-5).
We are commanded to fix our eyes on JESUS (Heb. 12:2) and we should never be preoccupied or distraught over anything else happening around us in the world. In ALL things, [every situation] we are to give thanks (1 Thess. 5:16-18). We are overcomers of this world [1 John 5:4,5, Rev. 3:21, 21:7], and conquerors [Romans 8:37] of this life, through Jesus Christ our Lord and King. However, we are not promised a precious, carefree life. We are guaranteed tribulations and trials in this life and if we trust in God when we go through trials, God will build HIS character and Kingdom (Jesus) in us. "Tribulation produces perseverance, character and character; HOPE." (Romans 5:3,4). In these last days those who perceive the compromise and deceptions operating in the churches, and who speak out about them, will come under attack. Righteous discerners will react, and often confront erroneous religion posing as evangelical Christianity, wherever it is encountered. The word tells us that "those who live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution," but it's unexpected when the persecution comes from other "Christians" for telling them the truth. We must preach the truth in love, no matter what the price. What we are NOT to tolerate in the body, are those doctrines and practices, which compromise God's word and are dangerous to the body...particularly those doctrines that are demonically inspired. This may lead some into having to withdraw from some churches. Those doctrines and those who preach them must be brought to the light and judged righteously, BUT NOT CONDEMNED. There is a MAJOR difference between righteous judgment and condemnation. They are not the same thing, though the major demonic doctrine that is widely accepted in churches, is “we must not judge.” We are COMMANDED to use RIGHTEOUS JUDGMENT although in the modern church, its mostly righteous discerners who are wrongly judged and condemned for bringing a word of reproof or correction to the body. There currently exists a desperate need for correction.
Now, this ministry is NOT a ministry of condemnation but one of hope, total cleansing and deliverance in Jesus Christ! When I use the word fallen, I am identifying a large group of people who may be saved, but who have turned away from the glorious truth of the Gospel and are indulging themselves in dead religion, fables or SOULISH emotion. Though many have fallen, there is a holy remnant even in the darkest of places. In much the same way that Lot was called out of Sodom before God judged it, God is calling His remnant to HOLINESS and to come out of compromised or apostate movements and fellowships who no longer preach the true Gospel. These are men and women who love the Lord and have realized that something is drastically wrong in the circles in which they have sought fellowship. Some of these may have been partially decieved by apostate teachings but are now being brought to repentance. Some of them have already abandoned those compromised or apostate churches and are now being remolded and perfected by our Potter. Some of them still hold onto portions of the apostate teachings that they sat under, though God is patiently showing them the truth. Some of them are anointed and gifted and flow in the AUTHENTIC power of God, though they are not without flaws (none of us are). God is perfecting His bride and calling her out to be spotless and unblemished ...ready for His coming. There is a real faith in Christ today that is the same faith of the Apostles. The SAME Holy Ghost power of Pentecost is still available to us, but the counterfeit has attempted to quench His mission. When men and women are sincere, holy and love the lord with all their hearts, Jesus does manifest Himself to that person. There is a real Anointing of God that each servant must have in order to serve the Master. There are real signs and wonders that follow those who preach and LIVE the real Gospel, that cannot be bought or conjured. There are dear, humble saints that I personally know of who have touched the lives of hundreds, even thousands of people, with the true power of God, but they don't grandstand for profit. We must not be preoccupied with “signs and wonders.” We must be totally caught up in the presence of our God! We must seek HIM and His presence...and not covet all of the “goodies” that God might give us. Most of the church has forsaken to “SEEK YE FIRST THE KINGDOM (JESUS) AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS....” and instead are fixated on: “AND ALL THESE THINGS SHALL BE ADDED UNTO YOU.” Most of the Charismatic/ Pentecostal part of the church is now fixated upon receiving the blessings and benefits of God instead of seeking God Himself! They do this because of a deep spiritual pride and self-entitlement that lusts after “signs and wonders” to legitimize THEMSELVES and THEIR ministries! The church today is in such a “bless me Jesus, bless me” mentality, that it can no longer afford to daydream about the possible benefits or prizes that God has for us. GOD HAS PROMISED TO MEET YOUR NEEDS, ISN’T THAT ENOUGH? Yes, we must trust in Jesus alone and when led by His Spirit- ask and proclaim in faith (especially for others) but ONLY AS THE SPIRIT LEADS US, NOT according to OUR VAIN IMAGINATIONS. Too many have been so compromised by the extreme “name it and claim it,” “Jesus is my cosmic Santa Claus” mentality, that they need to get their eyes off of His goodies, and fix them solely on Jesus. SEEK GOD’S FACE...NOT HIS HAND!” (2 Chron. 7:14, 1 Chron. 16:11, Ps. 24:6, 27:8, 105:4, Proverbs 7:15). JESUS IS OUR GREATEST TREASURE! The real anointed of God don’t beg for your money...and they don’t want to build a shrine or an empire to honor themselves. To the extent that the followers of Jesus love, obey and follow Him, they will manifest His kingdom on this earth. The kingdom is not a building on this earth. The kingdom is Jesus Christ manifested in and through us!
There is a powerful spirit of lies and deception in operation that is attacking the church. It is the very spirit of antichrist, which is paving the way for his eventual rule. This powerful demonic deception is utilizing different tactics and introducing different doctrines in various Christian movements. There are some mainline denominations that have already been conquered by Satan and are thoroughly deceived and pose no threat to him. But there are other newer and popular movements (neo-evangelical) that propagate a less than orthodox “gospel” for the purpose of being “popular” and "succsessful."
This compromised movement is called “seeker sensitive” when in fact all it does is compromise and dumb down the true Gospel until it is palatable to the least common denominator. It is a “church” built on marketing, that the Evangelical community is now being seduced into idolizing. Bill Hybels and the Willow Creek Association are the progenitors of this seemingly innocuous “seeker” movement. But it is a dangerously stealthy deception. Bill Hybels is a disciple of Robert Schuller, whose philosophy and theology is dangerously apostate. Willow Creek also propagates a heavily psychologized, humanized, “positive,” gospel. Willow Creek is “successful“ because it waters down the Gospel and entertains the masses exquisitely. Many formerly orthodox churches are now bowing at Bill Hybel‘s altar and lusting for his type of “success.” The Willow Creek Christian is worldly and sophisticated (mostly yuppies) and have an aversion to people who quote scripture. They are slickly encouraged to despise “fundamentalism.” They have been inoculated with a half-baked, compromised “gospel”, which makes them almost impervious to the authentic Gospel (though they do preach some portions of the basic Gospel). They have been deceived to only want to hear a “positive" word that doesn’t ruffle their compromised lifestyles- while inflating their "self-esteem."
One MAJOR sign of this is the work and acceptance of the World Council of Churches (WCC). This is a dangerous, apostate alliance that is homogenizing different religions (like "Catholics and Evangelicals Together") and bringing them under one tent. Some major Evangelical leaders like Billy Graham, Charles Colson, Bill Bright, Pat Robertson and Hank Hannegraf, fully legitimize Catholicism (instead of calling them to repentance and OUT of Catholicism) (Read what 'Ex Catholics For Christ' have to say about this bad agreement) have endorsed new heretical agreements with Catholic leaders, and some priests are now working in formerly evangelical organizations like Prison Fellowship. Previously impossible agreements are being penned in the name of “Christian unity.” A major evangelical compromise toward Rome is in high gear. YES, we must love everyone, BUT we MUST NOT COMPROMISE THE GOSPEL! We must be tolerant and loving to all people, but "tolerance" does not equate to joining (being UNEQUALLY YOKED) with unbelievers or the consummately deceived, or ignoring their pagan practices (like praying to Mary, wise important words of an X-Catholic) no matter how many other doctrines that we may have in common with them. The Catholic dogmas CLEARLY teach that the Catholic Church is the "ONE and ONLY TRUE Church." If you can swallow their antichristian dogmas like "transubstantiation" (the "mass" is the focal point of their religion, and is clearly a pagan ritual- it is not a Biblical communion- as THEIR Jesus is a "perpetual sacrifice"- whose "flesh" must be physically, and literally "consumed" (the "host" is lifted up and actually worshipped! [idolatry]) in order to receive "salvation") "celibacy for priests" (the Catholic church is plagued with homosexual/ pedophile priests) and these 36 more reasons to question Catholic doctrines, then you have been thoroughly deceived. Most average Catholics that I have met, do not care much for "born again, fundamentalist Christians." The Pope has openly condemned "Christian fundamentalists" who don't agree with Catholic dogmas! The Vatican says that “The fundamentalist approach is dangerous, for it is attractive to people who look to the Bible for ready answers to the problems of life,” the document said. Fundamentalism actually invites people to a kind of intellectual suicide.” So, the Pope teaches that the scriptures are not for the common people and that adhering to the scriptures is "dangerous?" Those are not the words of a Christian at all but rather one who is ANTICHRISTIAN! The same document even proceeds to infer that the Bible is not a reliable document, let alone the Word of God: "Jesuit Father Joseph Fitzmyer, said fundamentalists failed to recognize that several years elapsed between the time Jesus spoke and the time when the gospels were written.
“There was no stenographer, no one with a tape recorder on that time,” said Fitzmyer." In saying such things, it is the Vatican, which is preaching hate and condemning the true Gospel and those who really follow Jesus and His pure Word.
The real church cannot possibly agree to be one with the Pope, BUT... others are being deceived in these last days:
“BUT THERE WERE ALSO FALSE PROPHETS AMONG THE PEOPLE, EVEN AS THERE WILL BE FALSE TEACHERS AMONG YOU, WHO WILL SECRETLY BRING IN DESTRUCTIVE HERESIES, EVEN DENYING THE LORD WHO BOUGHT THEM, AND BRING ON THEMSELVES SWIFT DESTRUCTION. AND MANY WILL FOLLOW THEIR DESTRUCTIVE WAYS, BECAUSE OF WHOM THE WAY OF TRUTH WILL BE BLASPHEMED. BY COVETOUSNESS THEY WILL EXPLOIT YOU WITH DECEPTIVE WORDS...” (2 Peter 2:1-3)
These verses are also clearly being fulfilled in the WOF/Prosperity movement. Apostasy in the Evangelical sphere is also in high gear. A mostly watered-down, irrelevant, and powerless Gospel is being heard and practiced in most evangelical churches. Shallow (though often high minded) head knowledge is exalted above heart knowledge, though the scripture says that we must come to Jesus as little children and seek Jesus with OUR WHOLE HEART. ( Ps.119:2, Prov. 3:5). On the one side, the heart condition is ignored while on the other, emotions are king. Extremes are ruling the day and are another sign that man’s flesh and the devil are raging. The Evangelical church is plagued by ecumenism; the use of godless psychology, which has been exalted above the power of the word; women and unqualified men vying for "position;" and a general falling away (apostasy) from the deep truths of the Gospel. Two, entirely different gospels are being preached. An intensive selfish narcissism, which is rampant in the world has spread to the church and can be seen in the way that many parishioners are driven by their selfish ambitions to have their “gifts” and “talents” recognized by leadership. Many in leadership are not called at all but rather are filled with nothing but ungodly ambitions to control other people and be held in high esteem by others. Some of these suffer from “superioritis.“ A haughty, superior, antichristian spirit has descended upon many that are in leadership. Humble, servant leaders who are like Jesus, have been relegated to the lowest possible jobs, which they accept without dispute because they are like Jesus in this world, and not like the predominantly ruthless, greedy, selfish, power-hungry, hierarchy that presently rules most churches!
In recent years, the Gospel has been intentionally diluted by "seeker" churches for the purpose of appealing to the lowest common denominator. The idol of marketing, "success," popularity, and numbers, is what drives these "seeker" churches. These are idols that infect most Pentecostal and Charismatic camps as well, to some extent, and SOME in these camps are operating in dangerous heresies. Those who have COMPLETELY embraced the apostate WOF (Word of Faith) movement have all but exchanged the Holy Spirit, for a spirit of license. Many of them now operate as though every vain imagination they have, is a "word" or "vision" from God. Some of them have been seduced into believing that they have become a type of "god." That is what hyper- “faith” (they worship “faith” much more than they worship Jesus) heretics like Kenneth Hagin, Kenneth Copeland, Benny Hinn, Paul Crouch, Fred Price, Crefflo Dollar, Morris Cerullo and many others have been teaching for years. (I call them the 'FAITH CLUB MAFIA' - most of whom can be physically identified by their multi- cornered pocket hankies stuck in their expensive suits- meant to resemble a crown- they fancy themselves as "royalty")
One web site convincingly reports that Kenneth Copeland is a secret Freemason. Certainly, his heretical, New Age doctrines, mark him and his teachings as demonic doctrines. Freemasonry just loves to sponsor counterfeit religion. This website also reports that his first boss in the "business," Oral Roberts, is reported to be a 33rd degree Freemason, like Peale and Schuller.
The very worst of the Hagin/Copeland followers apostate doctrines is the one that totally denies Jesus Christ by claiming that His redemptive work on the cross was not final, but that Jesus had to be "born again in hell." This proves that they preach "another gospel." How many others discern the spirits that operate on these apostates? Can’t you see the spirit of license and Jezebel in high gear? Don’t you see the candy (effeminate), self-absorbed earmarks of people who have been deceived? They are so fakely theatrical in their sickly performances. They preach hype and methods (demonic doctrines) which comes from their flesh, not from the Holy Spirit. I, like several others called as watchmen, MARK them openly for what they are: DANGEROUS, APOSTATE, FALSE PROPHETS, AND CHARLATANS! These men preach TWO DIFFERENT GOSPELS. Though they may preach some of the real Gospel, they PREDOMINANTLY preach A DIFFERENT GOSPEL (Gal. 1:6), the covetous health and wealth "gospel." They are mixing the Holy doctrines of God with profane and even demonic inspired doctrines. This is comparable to the "strange fire" that Aaron's sons attempted to offer to God and were destroyed for. Come out of this apostasy, repent of your sins and return to God before it is too late!

Today, the most treacherous aspect of identifying deception and erroneous doctrine in the church is agreeing on what constitutes compromise and error. The slickest ploy of Satan is to redefine the meaning of most of the biblical vernacular and even entire Biblical passages. For instance, the word "love," has been very loosely redefined in the modern church to mean that no one should question or confront a brother or a minister in any way. Many movements have twisted certain scriptures to mean something entirely different than what God intended. For instance, "touch not mine anointed and do my prophets no harm" has been interpreted by the WOF (Word of Faith) movement and its closely related "New Wave" prophetic movement, to mean that THEY and THEIR leaders are above reproof and correction. They have created a phony upper class of "priests" and "kings" and act as though they are above anyone else (haughty spirit). (Believe me, I get plenty of angry mail from these false prophets and their "armor bearers"). It is a haughty "Saulish" spirit that has infected them. They act like little self-deserving, spoiled princes. They must be called to repentance and others must be warned about them. This “New Wave” counterfeit prophetic movement is a spiritual perversion that has come out of an ongoing amalgamation of the Charismatic and Word-Faith camps. It is a demonic ploy designed to seduce and blind those who idolize and indulge in fortune telling in order to feel powerful and superior. New Wave Leaders like Rick Joyner and Paul Cain proclaim that God is “doing a new thing” in these last days. Rick Joyner has written a “prophetic book” called the “Final Quest” that greatly aggrandizes himself. He also claims to have had a “ vision” of heaven where he spoke with the Apostle Paul who told him that Rick’s particular holiness and mission on earth and the “word” that he had been given, was more important than what Paul had done! If this “vision” actually happened, it was a counterfeit sponsored by demons and is known in the Bible as “necromancy,” which is what caused King Saul to have a great fall when he had the witch of Endor conger up the dead Prophet Samuel. But false prophets like Rick Joyner believe that they are receiving a special kind of “new prophetic word” that can contradict the Bible. There is such a thing as a prophetic word, but it NEVER contradicts the Bible- it ALWAYS confirms the Bible. God does not send dead Saints to give us little “pep talks.” Joyner and Cain have been seduced in recent years into becoming proud members of the “Knights of Malta,” a Catholic/ Masonic elite group of New Agers who are committed to ushering in the New World Order.
