TOLERANCE= PERSECUTION GRINCHES WHO HATE CHRISTIANS
So who is the real "Grinch" behind this increasing progrom to eliminate Christ and Christmas from every public place? The Bible identifies the ultimate Christ-hater of course as Satan. Satan carries out his hatred against Christ and Christians directly through his demons who influence the Christ-less millions. The ultimate incarnation of Satan will occur at some point soon and this spirit of Antichrist has been around since Satan fell from heaven. However, this Antichrist spirit is now intensifying and brainwashing the spiritually dead and vulnerable, who are growing particularly hateful towards Christians and Christ. The celebration of Christmas is now bringing out the hate in those who loathe authentic Christians and anything related to Jesus Christ. We are now in the first stages of criminalizing Christianity as Worldnetdaily.com describes:
"The attacks on Christianity in America are alarming. We are witnessing more than religious bigotry now. We are entering the early stages of what could become persecution and outright criminalization of Christianity if it is not exposed and fought vigorously by all freedom-loving people."
As Christians, we shouldn't be upset over this attack on Christmas and Christianity. We certainly have the right to identify the bias and hatred and even take legal steps to protect our God-given rights as necessary. However, we are commanded to love those who persecute us. The 'anti-Christers' are using every demonic tool they can to destroy Christians and our Faith but they cannot prevail so long as Christians remain faithful to Christ. One of the many 'tools' they use is simply re-identifying, co-opting, and creating the meaning of new and even ancient concepts, words and practices. They have deceived most of the evangelical church simply by declaring in liberal churches that 'Christian love' means that "true Christians" never make "judgments" about others. Satan has cleverly deceived most of Christendom already to soft-peddle and sugar-coat the Gospel so as not to "offend" anyone! Explain the "seeker" oriented phenomena any way you wish but realize that the bottom line for them is to make the Gospel "user friendly" to the least common denominator. The true Gospel has been so watered down and compromised by most evangelical churches that Satan can now focus his intense hatred toward those who pose a real threat to his "kingdom." Satan must demonize Christians in order to destroy them and get millions to follow his lead. The very tip of Satan's political spear now poised at Christendom, which satan uses to harass and persecute Christians in America, masquerades as a "civil liberties" proponent. They pretend to be touting "tolerance" while they are systematically attempting to rid our government and all public venues of all remnants of our Judeo-Christian heritage. As far as Christmas and intensifying hate and persecution against us... take heart Christian- Christ has overcome the world and all of the hate aimed against us. Even the twisted Dr. Seuss story identifies the fact that the true joy of Christmas cannot be eliminated because it lives in the hearts of believers. Now, I am not advocating idolizing Christmas but rather to magnify Jesus and testify to what He is offering all of mankind.
As a Bible-believing, born-again, Spirit-filled believer, (aka: "super dangerous Christian fundamentalist" or SDCF) well aware of the dubious, flawed, artifical and even pagan roots of modern Christmas, I believe that this is a special season in which Christians have the opportunity to spread the authentic joy of Christ! Despite the worldly and materialistic abuses of what should soley be a special time to venerate Jesus and His arrival to this wretched world, we need to seize the season for Jesus and glorify and magnify Him! Of course Christians should worship and adore Jesus everyday of the year but we musn't let the contrived, materialistic, secular and even paganly derived traditions destroy this special time of year, a time when billions of people may be more open to hearing about Christ. The true love of Christ covers a multitude of sins and even certain man-made traditions. Certainly Christmas is a man-made creation because no one truly knows when Christ was born, though some devout Bible detectives believe that the Bible indicates that Jesus was probably born around the High Holy Days in early Fall. The Puritans forbade the celebration of Christmas because of its Catholic/ pagan origin. It is true that the Catholic church co-opted the date of the winter solstice, which was a major holiday for numerous pagan religions, and did so in order to superficially Christianize the pagan citizens of the Roman empire by allowing them to keep their pagan celebrations. Catholicism has always been a pantheistic religion, which allows the practice of various pagan and even occult beliefs as long as those believers also embrace the tenets of Catholicism. Case in point is the practice of Macumba, which is African witchcraft combined with Catholicism, still practiced heavily in South America and the Carribean.
The real point of this article is to stress that despite the origins of Christmas, we can embrace the true Spirit of the Lord's advent into this world and should do so on a daily basis. The fact that so many may be more spiritually open to Jesus at this time of year, should embue us all with an even greater love and exuberent joy for Jesus and all of those around us. Let us focus spiritually even more intently upon Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our Faith! Even wonderful classic stories such as Dicken's Christmas Carol, highlight the need for personal redemption and the grace and love that is available to mankind. Such a miraculous change as happened to Scrooge, is only possible through a vital relationship with Jesus. The fact that there is an increasing persecution of Christians and hateful prosecution of Christimas, should only increase our love for Jesus and for our enemies who hate Christians and thus Christmas.
The truly sad fact is that liberal and nominal Christians are ignorantly joining the extremely small minority who are offended by seeing Christianity in public. Like the Christ-haters, the liberal "Christians" are brainwashed or ignorant of American history and how to apply the 1st ammendment. The first ammendment assures us the God-given freedom of religious expression- not the elimination of it from the public square... Freedom of religion, not freedom from religion!
It is truly amazing that in the name of "tolerance", hateful leftists are playing the role of Grinch and are trying to strip Christmas and all Christian symbols out of the public square. As the spirit of Antichrist rises in the world and in our country, hatred for all that is good and holy is also rising. Even though it is a small percentage of people who are prosecuting a war against any mention of Christianity in the public square, the general hatred towards true Christians has never been higher or more overt. We have the constitutional right and mandate to speak out against this hatred. It is comparable to the hatred that Hitler spread against the Jews before the war. We must not react in hate but we must stand for what is right. We must remember that all those who live a Christ-like life, will suffer persecution. We must lift up our heads and realize that our Redeemer is coming soon!
