LETTER TO PRESIDENT BUSH: JUDGES, TERRORISM, ISRAEL
I voted for you both times Mr. President. I have been a loyal and patient friend and supporter of yours and so I am petitioning you to remember your promises to religious conservatives and make sure that you only nominate conservative constitutionalists who will vote against abortion and vote like Scalia in all other matters. What I am about to say comes from my heart and comes from someone who would die to protect his president and his country. My concern grows deeper when I hear comments from the White House that leads me to believe that your administration has grown weary of "religious conservatives" (without whom you would not be president) and possibly feel even worse about. Please realize that the beliefs, morals and philosophies of the "religious right" are the same ideas and philosophies of our founding fathers! Today, most of them would also be defined as being "intolerant fundamentalists" in our society. Even Deists like Jefferson and Franklin openly ENCOURAGED the Christian religion, Bible reading and instruction in our schools. The hate, persecution, marginalizing and intolerance that I have heard slung at "fundamentalist Christians" in recent years because we dare to advocate for what we deem to be for the public good and had been held for centuries as such, has grown insufferable.
Recent horrific rulings by the Supreme Court indicate that our very existence as a Republic for, of and by the PEOPLE is in dire straits! There are 5 justices who should be impeached for ruling against private property owners. Individual rights; the pursuit of happiness and private property ownership is at the very heart of our Constitution, which also found inspiration from the philosophy of Natural Rights, which fueled our Revolution! I believe very strongly that unless our ship of state changes course, we are doomed sir.
You are faced with even more difficult decisions and times than what President Lincoln faced but as Lincoln did, so must you! You must do what is Right sir! The price for allowing slavery in our country was a bloody Civil War that almost destroyed us. The result of the sanctioned butchering of Millions of the unborn will also result in the judgment of God upon our country IF we do not stop the ungodly practice of abortion. We already have
a political and philosophical civil war in this country and you must use the bully pulpit to combat leftist immoralities and lies. You must stand for
what is right and show your resolve or there will be no hope for our country in the coming years. If you say that you know Christ and respect and read
the Bible, then you must strive to obey Him and apply His true principles. We were established as a Christian nation. Although we are not a theocracy nor having an official church, our Constitution is based upon scripture and Christian beliefs and practices were intertwined with government and public forums for almost two centuries. We have been blessed over the years (despite our national sins) because many Americans never turned their back on God, so God has been gracious to us. But right now is the watershed moment Mr. President. Don't allow the left or those real "neo-con" spoilers (pretenders really) like Senators McCain and Specter, whose bald-faced hubris has been sabotaging your agenda (at least I hope you desire to nominate true conservatives- not just lightning rods left out in the proverbial thunderstorm).
If you make the right decisions along strict constitutional, moral and thus Biblical grounds, our Republic will continue to flourish. If you don't... I
fear that God will remove His sovereign hand and gracious covering in order to bring us to repentance- just as He did with ancient Israel.
About the war against terror: It is obvious that we are trying to appease world opinion and prevent Islamic backlash from the half-baked way in which
you prosecuted this war. What was needed was much more decisive force. The only thing that such "evil-doers" understand is shear force. They venerate death- so give them what they want before they kill more of us! When the hell-bent "fringes" of Islam began attacking and murdering us and our allies, (Israel and England) the situation demanded that we liquidate such evil as quickly as possible with every force necessary. Any country that harbors such criminals against humanity should also be destroyed if necessary with ultimate force (including Pakistan and Saudi Arabia). Wahabism is not going away unless we declare war on it wherever it is found. Our lack of decisive action against radical Islam has actually encouraged more terrorism and continued revolts. We must also deal with Syria and Iran or the Middle East
will soon be pushed into what the Bible calls the "War of Gog and Magog.) This will be a flash nuclear war in which Israel (or God Himself) destroys Syria, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Libya, the Palestinians and some smaller
Arab states. I do not relish the thought of this at all and I believe that this can be post-poned if America follows godly principles. By the way...Allah, is not God! There is not a "universal god with many names" as
the Gnostic Masonic societies teach. There is only One God (though we certainly respect the rights of other religions) and He has revealed Himself ONLY
through His Son, Jesus Christ. We have the Biblical mandate to believe that, say that, practice that and share that fact no matter what position we occupy.
By the way- if our government is serious about fighting terrorism, why are our borders and our immigration policies practically unenforced? I am extremely suspicious as to why we are allowing immigration to be so out of control during a period when terrorists could smuggle a WMD into our country? Our non-desire to enforce immigration laws let alone protect our borders is proof that political correctness and corporate greed rule our country. If you don't address these two evils openly, we will fall from within much like ancient Rome did. All of the decadent sins of ancient Rome now flourish unchecked and are even openly celebrated as being "special" in America. David Wilkerson, a famous preacher (and Billy Graham I believe) said that "If God doesn't punish America, He will have to apologize to Soddom and Gomorrah." That punishment would have already occurred EXCEPT for the fact that we are not in the era of Old Testament fire and brimstone judgment (yet- though it will return) but stiil in the time of the dispensation of God's grace, which will soon come to an end. You see as long as authentic Christians are still around and pleading and interceding for God to forgive America and hold off punishing her- we will continue to experience God's grace on a national level.
About Israel: You recently made more demands upon Israel than even President Clinton ever made. Unless it is for show and for the luring of Palestinians into the position of once again not cooperating when they are being given
top prize- then I understand your actions. If you are truly expecting Israel to continue to make horrible sacrifices in order to placate thugs, murderers
and terrorists, then the Bible (not me) promises that God will judge the nation that comes against Israel ("I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you"). It seems to me that we are now continuing Clinton policies designed to bring about continual chaos there. Appeasing the Arab world by pressuring Israel is unconscienable, ungodly and immoral. The Arabs will never be satisfied until Israel is wiped off the face of the earth and if we allow that to happen...we will be next.
Everything that I've said is based upon Biblical principles and scripture itself. The prophecies concerning the coming war can be found in Isaiah
chapters 14 through 20 and in Ezekiel 37 through 39.
